Background

Known as Super Donkey kong 2 in Japan, this is the sequel to the popular Donkey Kong Country. Same formula for the gameplay as the original, with new worlds, bad guys, and a new playable character called Dixie.

Story

Donkey Kong was having a nice sleep on the beach after his successful adventure previous game. Night fell and Donkey hadn't returned, in search for him, Diddy & Dixie went to the beach to find his chair scattered with hundreds of footprints in the sand. A note left by Kaptain K. Rool exclaimed he had captured Donkey and wanted their Banana Hoard as an exchange. So Diddy & Dixie set off for another adventure to save Donkey Kong, and rid the world of K. Rool once again.

Comments

The sequel to the great game that was Donkey Kong Country, Diddy's Kong Quest sees the introduction of a new character to the Kong crew, Dixie Kong. Dixie features some new moves that will become very handy for the adventure ahead, as the game takes you through new worlds with nicely rendered terrains and characters. Lovely to look at, and even better to play.
